“Let cases of embezzlement be your priority” PM Murekezi

This 6th December 2016 while receiving oath of office of 4 prosecutors, Prime Minister Anastase murekezi urged them to prioritize files of embezzlement and theft of public, banks and cooperative funds.

Commenting on the prosecutor’s obligations, Prime Minister Murekezi said:

“In order for you to excel in your performance, you have to be patriotic, work hard, be motivated, professional, and to work in a good environment with you teammates”. 

Prime minister Murekezi added that they new prosecutors have to always seek advises to their workmates and superiors, to keep being updated as well as being honest whether at work or outside.

He further urged them to be truthful and be characterized by values of the Rwandan culture, avoid any kind of corruption and promote good customer service.

Anastase Murekezi commended new prosecutors who sworn in, to speed up the follow up on cases of drug selling and drug trafficking because drug traffickers commit other crimes like murder, rape, theft and many more.

Murungi Ester and Rusagara Augustin sworn in as chief Prosecutors at the Intermediate level and Kamikazi Bizimana Christ   Prosecutor at the Intermediate level while Ingabire Yvette took oath to serve as Prosecutor at the lower level.
